Dyslexia is a learning problem that causes the reader to see letters all jumbled together and out of order. The dyslexic person may confuse letters, numbers, or words.

A 33 year old dutch man tackled the problem of dyslexia and came up with a totally unique and awesome solution: A font that reduces the confusion dyslexics have with similar letters! Font creator Christian Boer used a background in graphic design to fashion a letter system that makes similar letters like “d” and “b” look different from one another. The letters in this font can still easily be read by anyone, but offer just enough distinction for each individual letter that the brain of the dyslectic individual is more likely to distinguish between the “P”s and “Q”s (and “I”s and “J”s … etc.). While this concept is totally unique and amazing – and the world owes Christian Boer a great debt of gratitude – it gets even better. Mr. Boer has made this font to help dyslexia completely FREE for individual use! You can visit his website www.DyslexieFont.com and get free access to this wonderful tool. The implications for adults and children with dyslexia are phenomenal: This tool may provide a useful modification to the standard alphabetic system that clears up confusion for thousands of individuals with dyslexia. Christian Boer, hats off to you! Thank you for a job very well done!
